As a citizen or as an entrepreneur you may be confronted with criminal law. That is almost never the intention, but still, it just happens.

The government takes decisions on all kinds of matters that concern you. You can object if you do not agree with such a decision.

If you are not safe in your own country, you can apply for asylum. Most foreign nationals come to the Netherlands for a different reason, for example for study, work, medical treatment or family reunification.

The employee, beneficiary or care recipient faces disputes about social security against large parties such as UWV, SVB, CIZ, the care office or the municipality.
